3D Printing Operator

Job Summary:

The 3D Printing Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printing equipment to produce high-quality parts and prototypes. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 3D printers and related equipment to produce parts and prototypes according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of 3D printing machines.
• Monitor the printing process to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with 3D printers and software.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize print settings and improve output quality.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in the printing area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in 3D printing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating 3D printers in a manufacturing or prototyping environment.
• Proficiency with 3D printing software and CAD programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
