Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial controls.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, and assist in financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems; proficiency in Excel is a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience with financial reporting and compliance regulations.
