AC Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing automotive air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC principles as they apply to vehicles and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive air conditioning systems and components.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on air conditioning units.
• Recharge refrigerant and ensure systems are operating at optimal levels.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive air conditioning technologies and repair techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's AC issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive repair preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an automotive air conditioning mechanic.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and refrigerant handling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
