Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant specializing in Purchase Orders to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase order process, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase order documentation.
• Reconcile purchase orders with invoices and delivery receipts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to purchase orders.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and track purchase order status and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records and files for all purchase orders.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Assist in the development and implementation of purchase order policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on purchase orders.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
