Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with vehicles, as well as performing routine maintenance and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair problems with vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and battery checks
• Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair problems with vehicles
• Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs have been made correctly
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to complete complex repairs
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the automotive industry

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary education in automotive repair or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic
• ASE certification in one or more areas of automotive repair
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Ability to use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair problems with vehicles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
