Bag Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bug Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases and report bugs in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases and results.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to discuss testing progress and challenges.
• Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the testing cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Bug Tester or in a similar QA role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
