Mobile Store Keeper
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the inventory, receiving, storing, and issuing goods within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate stock records, maintains optimal stock levels, and supports the supply chain by coordinating with procurement and logistics teams. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in a similar role and demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility
- Issue goods to internal departments or external customers, maintaining accurate pick records
- Maintain and update inventory management system, including barcode scanning and data entry
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with accounting
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials
- Coordinate with procurement to forecast stock needs and place replenishment orders
- Assist in the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities
- Prepare weekly inventory reports and communicate status to management
- Train and supervise junior warehouse staff as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a store keeper, warehouse associate, or inventory control specialist
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for accurate stock tracking
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- High school diploma required; associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
- Valid forklift or pallet jack certification is an advantage
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks

Additional Info:
Position based in the main distribution center, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend or overtime may be required during peak periods.
