Test Engineer

A Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software applications meet quality standards before they are released to users. They design, develop, and execute test plans, identify defects, report bugs, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Their goal is to verify that the software is functional, reliable, secure, and performs as expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and create detailed test cases.
• Perform manual and/or automated testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to improve software quality.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
• Ensure applications meet quality, usability, and security standards.
