Job Description
Role Summary:
Responsible for safe and efficient wagon tippler operations for unloading coal/limestone/raw materials, ensuring smooth material handling, equipment availability, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily wagon tippler operations and unloading activities
• Ensure safe operation of wagon tippler, track hopper, feeders & conveyors
• Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Coordinate with railways, logistics, and maintenance teams
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, SOPs, and statutory norms
• Maintain shift logs, unloading records, and MIS reports
• Handle breakdown coordination and assist in root cause analysis
Qualification:
• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical
Experience:
• 3–7 years in wagon tippler or bulk material handling operations (cement/power/steel plant)
Skills:
• Wagon tippler & material handling systems
• Shift operations & manpower supervision
• Safety & operational discipline
