Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant specializing in Purchase Orders to manage and oversee the procurement process. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate processing of purchase orders, maintain financial records, and support the finance team in achieving departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase order documentation.
Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and update the purchase order database.
Prepare reports on purchase order activity for management review.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to purchase orders.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Monitor and track inventory levels and reorder points.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on purchase orders.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
